Honeychile Ryder is a fictional character played by Ursula Andress in the 1962 James Bond film, Dr. No. The film takes place in the Bahamas, where Honey and James meet on a beach while Honey is collecting shells. Honey is very strong and independent in the film and is generally considered the first ever Bond Girl. Honey and her white bikini became symbols of power, sexuality and feminism.
